ROARING SPRING, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE: According to police, the man who died in an officer-involved shooting Friday has been identified.
State police said in a release that 49-year-old Todd Messner from Three Springs died after police say he turned toward officers while displaying a firearm, resulting in police action. An autopsy is being completed Saturday and police say more information will be released when it becomes available. FERGUSON TWP, Pa (WJAC) — Ferguson Township police are investigating a shots fired incident near the Overlook Heights neighborhood, according to a news release.
Officers say that several shots were fired into a parked car, from a shotgun, that was parked in the driveway of a residence, along the 1400 block of North Allen Street.
Police believe that the incident occurred Wednesday night, sometime between 9:30 and 10 p.m.
Authorities also add that they believe the person involved fled the area in an older model Ford or Dodge pickup truck.

STATE COLLEGE – The State College Area School District board of directors Monday unanimously approved a bid for a new air conditioning system at Mount Nittany Middle School.
School officials say the move to put a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system in the middle school is long overdue.

Portage, Pa. (WJAC) — Weakland Farms in Portage is hosting a Fall Craft and Vendor show Saturday and Sunday to kick off the fall season.
About 25 vendors are gathering to sell crafts and food.
Visitors can go through a corn maze and take a hay ride, or visit animals, a pumpkin patch, bouncy house, and concession stand.
The staff says the farm has been open for 17 years.

PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank says an unspecified "issue" affecting its online and mobile banking services has been resolved.
The bank announced the problem on its PNC Bank Help Twitter feed before 11 a.m. Tuesday, then said it was fixed about three hours later. PNC called it a "technology hardware issue" but didn't get more specific.
The bank had urged customers to use automatic teller machines or visit its branches to handle any transactions while the problem persisted.
