DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa (WHP) — There's been a bedbug outbreak at a movie theater in Pennsylvania during one of the biggest weekends for the box office.
According to the Susquehanna Township Codes Department, evidence of bedbugs were discovered at the Regal Movie Theater in Susquehanna Township recently. The Susquehanna Township Codes Department said the theater took immediate action to resolve the problem.
Bedbugs feed on blood and can cause itchy bites and irritation, but they do not transmit disease.
Harrisburg, PA — Update: A Harrisburg icon is destroyed after an early morning fire, taking with it nearly 170 years of history. Flames engulfed the Broad Street Market destroying one of the two buildings and leaving a community to grieve.

Darlene Ashcom, of Johnstown, received two checks in the mail this week, both read "PA Treasury" on the front of the envelopes.
She thought it was her property tax rebate check but instead, it was something else.

UPDATE | Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the victim of Wednesday's fatal crash on Route 64 in Walker Township.
Troopers say 66-year-old Larry Hoffman, of Lock Haven, was killed when his vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and struck a tractor-trailer head-on.
Officials say the crash closed a portion of Route 64 for several hours.

BEDFORD, Pa. (WJAC) -- Two days after a fire destroyed the Gardner Memorial Theatre at Old Bedford Village, members of the Bedford County Players are coming together to regroup and plan for their future productions.
Early Monday afternoon, the mostly wooden building went up in flames.
Firefighters helped contain the fire in near 90-degree heat.
It's been in the village since 1976 and has been occupied by the players since the '80s.
LARAMIE, Wyo. (TND) — Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., on Tuesday cheered the University of Wyoming’s (UW) decision to close its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) office in a statement to The National Desk (TND).
University officials made the announcement Friday after a “working group” appointed by President Ed Seidel recommended changes to the school’s diversity approach. Seidel formed the group after the state legislature withheld $1.73 million from the school’s budget and noted it would not provide state dollars for DEI efforts.

JOHNSTOWN -- Southern Airways will begin offering three daily nonstop flights from Johnstown to Pittsburgh International Airport and Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C. starting Nov. 19.
The flights will be based out of John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport, about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh.
The routes are subsidized by the government as part of the Essential Air Service program run by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The program is meant to connect secondary airports with those in larger, nearby hubs.
